The Beauty Social was a two-day event at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel that brought together experts, brand founders and gurus to learn insider beauty secrets.

First stop? CND’s Shellac manicure station. The mani lasts 14 days and I need my nails to coordinate with my Halloween costume, so I got purple.

There were lots of stations around the room… false eyelashes with Makeup Mandy, a Benefit brow bar…

We were the only two girls at the event not wearing makeup. Everyone was done up and looked incredible. I guess we wear so much during the week and at night we figured… what the heck, we were just lazy.

I’ll figure out something to do with these hair bands by Goody. They looked like fun. Kind of like bracelets and hair ties, headbands and necklaces.
