Sorry to bother you but your “Suzy Perry” costume is so adorable and brilliant! I would love to buy that outfit. All the Katy Perry costumes I’ve seen for sale are all extremely inappropriate. Please help!

Hi Vanessa! I grew up buying Hello Kitty pencil boxes that smelled like bubble gum and cotton candy. I guess I never grew out of it. I’m addicted to cute.

The key to my outfit is the wig. I can’t believe the price for the quality. THIS is the one I bought and I’m sure they’re available at most costume shops.

I bought THIS dress on EBay, but the trick is customization. I added a pink tulle skirt to lengthen the dress and sewed on paper megadots.

I also sewed a bunch of plush cupcakes and ice cream cones to my costume. I ate a bunch of real ones for research.

This is the original dress.

For makeup, I used liquid eyeliner for cat eyes, pink and lavender eyeshadow, no bronzer!

My Tarina Tarantino hot pink blush worked well on my cheeks and my eyes. You need thick curled lashes when channeling Katy Perry.

You also need big curls, so I fluffed and fluffed. The necklace is from Forever 21.
