Food, Galleries & Elixers, Oh My!
Don’t you love it when a great evening unfolds right in front of you? Nancy and I made a night of it on Friday.
First stop: A local staple, Buddha’s belly for some happy hour nosh and delicious lychee martini’s. (Can someone say great deal & delish!)
Next stop: Prism Gallery, for Bill Kramer’s celebration of Sci- Arc’s (Southern California Institute of Architecture) Main Event 10. Congrats to the lucky recipients of these wonderful scholarships for Architecture school. HUGE.
The gallery also featured peculiar and fascinating photography artworks by Daniel Askill.
Then we jaunted off the the Hotel Roosevelt for some elixirs while we waited for Suzanne to get off work & join us for dinner. She was reporting across the street (Hollywood Blvd.) on the latest Justin Beiber scandal.
The fresh herbs, peppers and fruits for muddled, abstract libations in the Library bar.
Sometimes you just never know where the night will take you. And it really doesn’t matter. Running around with these gals is what makes it so fun.
